Can't wait to go again!

Sail Date: September 04, 2006

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

The ship was smaller than the rest of there fleet but comfortable. It was also older and some of the ship could use some updating, such as the chairs in the main entertainment lounge need to be replaced or have more padding put in.

However, all the minor flaws are covered up by the wonderful food and service. The people working on the ship are really great and top notch. The ship does a great job of taking you out of reality and into a complete dream vacation.

Don't pass up the vacation of a lifetime. Take a trip on carnival today. You won't be disappointed.

Pros: I loved the food and the service

Cons: Docking in Key West so early. Nothing was open yet!

Ship Quality
The ship is smaller than the other ships and defiantly older. It needs a few repairs but other than that its a great ship.
Food and Dining
The food was wonderful. The service was the best service we had ever received on vacation. You have so many options and a never ending supply of food.
Cabin / Stateroom
The stateroom is the perfect size. You have plenty of room to unpack your belongings and make the room home for a week. The bathroom was in great shape. The room was well taken care of. We constantly had clean towels and our bed made.

The TV had many multi-language stations, for example, you would be watching an English speaking station and the show would be in English but the commercials would be in Spanish. That was a downfall seeing I got irritated the TV kept going back and fourth between languages.
Service and Staff
The staff really works hard to make the experience super enjoyable. Their really wasnt a staff member who didnt give a 110% effort. They were always so friendly and went above and beyond our expectations.
The entertainment and activities are really good. The biggest downfall was the magician. He really was awful. His show was boring, and bad quality. You could see him stick cards up his sleeves and showing us the secrets of his tricks. He has been on both cruises I have been on and I really wish they got rid of him. Other people felt the same way as he made conversation for breakfast the next morning.
Nassau, Bahamas
The Bahamas was dirty and just a huge joke. Almost every store was a jewelry store and if you went in to find a good price, you were pleasantly surprised to find the prices were no better than in the U.S. Choosing an excursion is a must in the Bahamas if you want to have your time feel like it was used wisely. Dont waste your time trying to find something to do if you dont have one.
Don't Miss: Sting Ray Encounter + Snorkeling
Key West, Florida
