Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Oceanview

My family of 6 and I were impressed with the look of the ship and the state rooms, the food and the entertainments.

Pros: Food and room service Crew was excellent

Cons: Customer service by the Cruise

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Except for the nonresponsive Captain who upon an error docking in Bahamas did not stand to even come up and appologize and hid all the way to Jacksonville behind doors and ruined my first cruise with Carnival Cruises.

It was the worst trip as due to captains error the customers that is us, the passengers had to suffer. We purchased the cruise for the Bahamas and could not port in Bahamas because of the captains errors in docking. The worst ever customer services ever that offered $100 per person and 25% off the next trip made within the end of 2007. Where would you get such a vacation again with the entire family? The excellent customer service would have been to offer the full refund and not the 25% on hte next trip. Let the customers decide about the next trip on their own. Simply to provide a proper customer service, a full refund should have been offered and that would satisfy the customers and would plan to join the cruise again knowing the excellent customer service. Instead a $100 is not even 10% of the destined trip to the Bahamas. Do you call this a customer service? I am sure you would not see the customers that were on this cruise on a next cruise with the customer service that's provided
