This ship needs to be retired

Sail Date: July 01, 2006

Reviewed: 10 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

This ship needs to be retired. After sailing on newer ships, the Celebration is a real disappointment. Low ceilings, few amenities, the pool was a large bath tub, and the pool area was crowded with very few deck chairs. You would be better off spending a few more dollars and getting a much better vacation. Not recommended!!!

Pros: large rooms, comfortable bedding, friendly staff

Cons: entertainment, food, very dated ship

Cabin / Stateroom
Our cabin had all new bedding.. Very comfortable!
Ship Quality
Retire this ship...it has seen its day!
Food and Dining
The dining staff was very good. The food quality was average. The buffet on the Lido deck was awful.
This ship had the worst dancers and entertainment of any cruise we've been on. (we've cruised 15 times)
Service and Staff
The staff was very good. Excellent dining staff and room steward.
