This ship is amazing! Our room steward and waiters and waitress were great! They always greeted us by name! Always made sure we had everything we needed. So much to do!

Amazing ship! So much to do that even with a 7 day cruise we didn’t get to do/see it all. We ate at the Steakhouse and it was exceptional! I highly recommend spending the extra $$$.

The Lido Buffet is difficult to react for food. I notice the staff serves you, is a buffet you should be able to serve yourself. The food did not have many variations. The assistant mgr at guest srv was very rude when I had a discrepancy with the internet I had pre order, I asked her to smile that is free and will make a big difference in the service she turn around and said I am the asst mgr to making the situation more negative, I asked for my refund. I did not want anything to do with her. Another thing I pre order water did not received it until late night after repeated calls. The pool is extremely small for the size of ship, the weather was good not very hot and the pool was full at times, I can imaging during summer seasons. Dinner was very good and the waiters were great. The room was good size and clean. The towels were mostly discolor “ yellow” vs “ white”

Overall The Vista did not disappoint and we honestly did not feel overcrowded. The Skyride line was the only time when the line was a bothersome. The Casino I never indulge on any of the ships but I agree with others very smokey!!! I have to mention that the CD The Flying Scotsman really really is the DEAL! He is full of energy an will be an asset to whatever ship he is on. The DJ was meh, thank goodness we had several in our group who brought music. Dining room was great. Steakhouse phenomenal, food and service. JiJi's was awesome as well food and service we really enjoyed. The pasta place was a miss for us. Pasta under cooked and bland, service did not match others. Our suite was nice and roomy as other ships. The disappointment is the big 55inch TV with no channels to watch. Room steward was fine didn't see him as much as others but room was clean. Check the Vista out you will enjoy.

I was so looking forward to this cruise for my 50th birthday with my family. In the first hours on the ship I quickly realized I would be spending half our time waiting in lines and for elevators. I was devastated to see the pools had no access with my limited walking ability and they were packed any time the weather was nice. No resos available at the steakhouse and the comedy shows were packed. It was very loud and stressful. If you like to drink and party this is your ship. If you are in a wheelchair it is not easily navigated and if you want to relax this is not your ship. We met a lot of wonderful people and the staff and their stories were really touching but way too many people.

Another perfect cruise on Carnival Cruise Lines. We will keep coming back for more and more. We very much enjoyed the Vista, but we must say we prefer the Dream class ships (Dream, Magic, and Breeze) We like the Spa layout better on those ships. Also, we missed the deck 3 to top of ship atrium very much that are on all the other Carnival Ships. Don't get us wrong, the Vista is a beautiful ship, with the most awesome crew, it is just a different layout compared to other Carnival ships. We will sail on the Vista again for sure, but next time we will chose a Grand Suite instead of a Spa Suite.

Well I was reading reviews before I got on the vista, Got off the vista yesterday, and I got to say a lot of them reviews are just people you can’t please. Yes bathrooms are not hard to find. The casino was not so smoky that you could not stay in there. My wife don’t smoke and I did not here her say anything about it. Can you smell smoke yes. But it is not overwhelming like I have read here. All the staff was great and willing to help. Our head waiter Anthony in the reflection lounge was great. The food was great. Now was it a 80 dollar steak, nope sure wasn’t. But the taste was very good. There was nothing I ate that was not good. It was all good. The vista is a very pretty ship. The lay out was different than the other ships but was not bad at all. Elevators are a bit of a pain, but I take the stairs a lot on all the cruises I have been on anyways. My only rant about my cruise don’t even concern the ship. Parents don’t just open the gate and turn your kids out. Let me back up. Not all the kids where bad. There was a lot that where kind and polite. Then there where kids that thought you owed them something. The parents of them kids needs to parent a little better. Don’t just turn them loose so you can have fun times while your kids are interrupting others fun times. Would I sail on her again. You bet.

We had a great time on the vista, the staff was great, and the food was the best I have had on any carnival ship. However the vista isn't my favorite ship I've on magic, freedom, and breeze, the layout is bad, the closest men's bathroom from casino is about 200ft away. All the venues are smaller on vista the other the other ships, same number of elevators as other ship I've been on. But there are a lot more people. Still had wonderful time but will book on freedom.

This was our honeymoon and it was amazing !!! The cruise director was absolutely amazing he was our favorite part about the cruise ! We have to brag on the exceptional service from Amit the bartender in the Casino, he knew what we wanted to drink after the first day we didn’t even have to tell him. I can’t think of a better way to have spent our first week married !!!!

Great trip overall. Perfect weather and a great itinerary. Ship was nice for a Carnival ship (we prefer Royal Caribbean). We loved staying close to the debarkation point and will definitely do that again.

This was my 1st cruise and I had so much fun. I am planning the next trip really soon!

Really great time... I love how each ship is elegant in their own way... Loved the theater and the thrill theater...

We definitely will Cruise again with Carnival, and it would give the Vista a second Cruise. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Was sad to see our holiday over.

I am a Seasoned Platinum Carnival Cruiser, and have 2 Sons that have worked for Carnival. So I have seen Carnival's Transitions. Beware that the VISTA ship is a large ship bit is terribly understaffed. It will be noticeable in the long line in various areas, long waits for food in dining room that always seem to arrive warm or just plain cold. Room Stewarts seem to work alone without assistants, unlike other ships, so patience will be needed. Beware that there are less elevators so you will be forced to wait for elevator's for extended period of time. The staff are wonderfully patient people, so please please be considerate and respectful. Some staff look weary and over worked. Carnival needs to pay more to recruit more staff... this might help a lot of their problems. Carnival needs to stick with what works.

The Vista is a pretty ship but Carnival is Carnival. The food is always the same...just ok. The drinks are small pours and expensive. The rooms are smaller and the lines are long.

Very relaxing. Love the time at sea. Food was good. All the crew was excellent. Didn’t run into one bad person.

Raj in the Red Frog Pub was outstanding! Michael in the dinning room and brunch area was amazing! Our room was always clean and tidy! Our Steward, I forgot his name, answered every question or request we had and super friendly!!

We had a great time, but didn’t love the layout of the boat. It was very confusing to find anything. Hate that they did away with the grand atrium like on the Carnival Magic. I’d cruise this boat again, but it wouldn’t be my first choice. Everything was very anonymous feeling whereas, on the Magic, our dining room host knew our names when we walked in. The service was more personal. The food on the Vista was GREAT, though, and very redeeming. Spend the extra money to try the restaurants and don’t get stuck in the buffet/dining hall rut.

For the most part this trip was enjoyable. Did not like the fact we were unable to port in one of the destinations and instead had to port in Cozumel where we had already visited. I believe Carnival should have given us a refund because the main reason for choosing this cruise was to visit Mahogany Bay. Also, did an excursion in Belize that was horrible. The description did not fit the actual excursion and when I brought that to the attention of the excursion crew on board, they did not seem to care. I simply advised them they should not promote this particular excursion because it was horrible. They did not care. We should have been offered a solution. Our waiter was amazing and the Flying Scotsman was the best part of the cruise.
