I highly recommend Carnival Vista! We had a large group of 12 and everyone had a great time. Loved Cruise Director Matt!

Great cruise. We stayed In the Havana area and frankly don’t know if I can cruise again without it. We probably did less on this cruise as far as entertainment goes but enjoyed Havana so much I didn’t miss the shows. Matt Was by far the most personable CD ever.

This was our Christmas Cruise! Though it wouldn't be crowded but it was. Had a blast anyway. Enjoyed the warm weather in the middle of winter!

It was a nice step out of the Christmas rush and allowed for some great family time.

This was our 6th. cruise with Carnival and of which were this year, we have never had these problems before but this cruise was terrible and a Christmas cruise at that.

This was our second Christmas cruise. Enjoyed the Christmas service and show in the afternoon. The Chef's Table was wonderful. Was a little disappointed in the 555 Steak house. Just not the class expected. Last year on the Breeze, the steak house was wonderful.

Carnival Vista was amazing....she’s big and beautiful. Really wasn’t feeling the atrium and how little it is compared to like the Valor that was more open.....but the service and staff were amazing. Marlo our Steward was so nice and friendly and our waiters Gregorio, Silver and Basil were the best. The knew all 10 of us by name and kept us happy. The cruise director Matt Mitchum is the best CD so far.....he kept it busy and he interacted with everyone so no one felt left out. This is the best experience I’ve had so far. Can’t wait to see what the Breeze has in store for us.

This was one of the best cruise ships I’ve been since I’ve been cruising!!! We had a Havana Cabana cabin and being able to relax on your balcony as if you’re at home was awesome. Nothing like going to pool and bar at any time and being able to get a lounger, cabana lounger, etc. with no problem. There was something going on from the time you got on the ship up until the night before you leave. The past guest reception was even better than past receptions to me. There was a party after The Captains Elegant Dinner night, All White Party Night, 70’s and 80’s Night, etc. Lastly, we had the best Cruise Director in the Carnival “Directory”!!! If a person had never cruised before, Matt definitely would make you want to cruise again!! 🥰🛳

We cruised on the Vista on December 16th. The ship was very nice but I now understand why so many people had bad reviews about the layout. Not that we didn’t like the layout because we actually did. If you have cruised on Carnival’s Triumph Class or The Dream class you are probably gonna be a little spoiled because you have gotten use to the flow on those ships. Vista has a different flow because of the new editions to this ship. The Vista has so many places to eat so for us the boat never seemed like it was over crowded. The market place buffet on the Lido deck always had lots of seating available. The new display for the pictures is the smartest thing carnival has done in a while. Now you pull up your photos on iPads or touch screen displays instead of searching for them on the wall. Also, the pizzeria will deliver pizza to you anywhere on the ship when you use the hub app. Our cruise was the first run for the new pizza delivery (anywhere on the ship). We tried it 2 or 3 times and it was amazing because we didn’t have to stand in line for pizza for several minutes and they delivered pretty fast. Give the Vista a shot but keep an open mind and learn the new layout. It was not bad. We are already booked for another cruise on the Vista.

Did a B2B on the Vista had the best time. CD Matt makes this cruise all the more fun. I disliked the layout of this ship out. Cove balconie was amazing.

Overall I would totally do it again without question , we all had an amazing time , I have been telling family and friends and trying to drag some people with us next time , thank you all !

My 1st cruise & now I'm hooked & can't wait to book another! The experience was amazing & the vista crew was top notch! Especially our room steward Wisnu!! We had a balcony room on lido deck (10240) & I know I'm spoiled now. Heard lots of complaints about this ship but I honestly think your cruise is what you make of it no matter what ship you're on. I'd love to go back on the Vista & hopefully will be able to talk hubby into it lol.

Wasn't as pretty as some of the other cruise ships, took the glass elevators out, and i love to watch them change colors, si that was a lil disappointing for us, still in all a nice ship but not as pretty as dream

We just got back from our 7 day cruise. Reading many reviews before we left, some comments I agree with now, some not so much. Getting on the ship, it was delayed due to weather, they tried to get us in the building and out of the cold. Took about an hour once entering the waiting area. The cruise was booked, other then the shows I never felt crowded. I did find the service a little slower then I have on past cruises. The servers themselves were friendly. The food on the buffet was OK, same with the food in the dining room, you won’t go hungry. We ate in the steak house, it was awesome, and JiJi Asian kitchen also very good. They also gave a sushi restaurant, it was good. Our Cabin Stewart Michelle was fantastic. Answered any questions we had, and made sure we had everything we needed. I don’t think she ever took a break. We stayed in a suite, 7838. Nice size room and bathroom with plenty of closet space. Balcony a little small but it was just the 2 of us. Wasn’t crazy about the stores on the ship. I agree the casino was very smoky. As far as getting lost, I didn’t, (turned around maybe) Look at the map, you are here.... etc. watched two outdoor movies, an iMAX and won tickets to a 3D show. BINGO was awful! The caller was terrible, we played 3 games, never knew what each game prize was until after the game ended. (Other then the grand prize) They had a show before the game, they don’t have enough tables, you needed to use a clipboard, I was lucky and grabbed a table as people got up to leave after the show. Glasses all over the table, I pushed them to the end, wiped the table off, and glasses stayed longer then I did. No one walking around taking drink orders. The atrium wasn’t as grand as some, but I still thought it was pretty. I didn’t have any more trouble getting on an elevator then on other ship. I do like the big glass elevators. Matt the cruise directors was great, very relaxed, funny, personable and everywhere! We were off the ship and in our car by 8:45.... All and All it wasn’t the best cruise we’ve taken but we had a good time, relaxed, and hated going back to work today!

I selected carnival because I enjoyed the previous carnival cruises. This one was not what I expected. On previous carnival ships the atrium was amazing. This was the first thing you saw so you were in awe as you entered the ship. The Vista' s atrium was something you might see as you entered a medical clinic, not even as nice as a shopping mall atrium. Very disappointing. It took 5 days to find my way around. In some cases you were forced to travel through the casino which was all open smoking. I am an ex-smoker and it was disgusting. My eyes burned for several hours. They had very few shops. The food at the buffet was terrible. Twice I attempted to eat a Caesar Salad and both times it tasted like fish. One night the fried chicken was under cooked. Other than the salads the choices were very slim on the buffet. Buffet was self serve slowing the line down. In the past there was carnival staff dishing up the food. The liquid lounge had a horrible design and was too small. The cruise director and the carnival dancers were amazing. The props appeared to be unprofessional but I believe they did the best with what they had. If it had not been for the dancers I would be requesting a refund. I spoke to several people on the cruise and not one had a good thing to say. I'm not sure there will be very many return cruiser to the Vista. The smaller ships are so much better. I had an extended balcony cabin. It was pretty nice. I understand the regular balconies are very small. Mahogany Bay is nothing more than a small beach area with overpriced junk. It is pretty. The basketball court and water slides were closed. The bike rail only lasted a day and was down the rest of the cruise.

Cruising with 3 other guys, all 21 and we’re all BIG BIG party guys, we’re booked on the Carnival Vista in July and was going to book a New Years cruise December 2019, was looking at the Norwegian Escape or Cruise the Vista again, I’ve always cruised carnival and nothing else cause I’ve always had the best time, looking to try something different possibly. Is the escape or other Norwegian ships a good party/nightlife and younger crowd ship, or should we stick to carnival? Can anyone tell me how the nightlife is on Norwegian ships compared to carnival if anyone has been on both, thanks!

Carnival Vista overall was a good cruise. If you’re looking for a good simple cruise try the Vista

Carnival Vista is a great ship. I LOVED our cruise director, Schwartz. I cruised the Vista back in September 2017 out of Miami and he was the BEST ever so I was excited to see him and hear his voice again. Yes, this was my second time on the Carnival Vista and I was not disappointed.

Though it was a wonderful cruise, I had higher hopes of this new ship. I had read many reviews and decided to reserve judgement until it was my turn to cruise on this new ship. Most of the reviews I read were exactly true. Disappointed.

Great staff. Steward knew me by name so did wait staff at restaurant. Great first cruise
