Review summary

Cruise was fun thanks to the staff and CD Kyndall Fire. Staff were excellent, despite being short staffed. Ship left a lot to be desired and will not sail on the Vista again.

Design is unimpressive. No comfy indoor lounge areas overlooking the ocean to sit back and relax. Temperature runs very warm in areas with a few cool spots. No pool in serenity area only 2 whirlpools and not enough clam shells. Elevators are slow and always full.

Cabin / Stateroom

Quite small for a balcony and for a party of 3 even smaller. It has 2 twins and a sofa bed. None of the beds were comfortable, especially the sofa. Balcony was very small, if you’re tall you will hit your knees on the glass when you sit down. Lacks storage space.

Ship tip

No expectations, no disappointment. During peak season lots of kids running around. Bring comfortable shoes because the stairs will be your best friend. The elevators are always full and very slow.

Wow..I am surprised thst you were disappointed. I was on Vista from July 2 thru july 9 and none of those problems .sorry you didn't enjoy. Elevator was no different than any ship i have been on. With that many people it should be expected. Had no problem with the cooling either however you can request fans. We had 2 but not for the AC both for the noise. I couldn't even tell they were short staffed. We had excellent service all the way around. Going on Vista again on April 29. I do prefer a smaller ship but for the size it was awesome.

Was this your first cruise? Not sure what u were expecting from the room size all ships including royal Caribbean have similar size balcony rooms.

Agree, the Vista class is lacking in many respects. But, fun can still be had on them.

Thanks for the review. I too wasn't impressed with the Vista. Not bad enough to never sail on it again, but definitely not a first choice either.
