Review summary

This was my very first cruise and now I’m hooked. Even with the rough embarking and disembarking experiences the fun and relaxing experience of the cruise more than made up for it. Can’t think of any better way to vacation from now on!

Embarkation

2 out of 5
The process seemed to take forever. Very few elevators were accessible to get around while waiting for room to get ready. Took about 30 minutes to the Lido deck. We were also with a wheelchair bound cruiser in which staff and other cruises made no effort to assist getting on the elevators. Other cruises always fast to cram in no matter how long others were waiting.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Enjoyed all of the food options for a first time cruiser I was not lacking for options.

Redfrog Pub and Brewery

5 out of 5

The dark coffee beer is great. Karaoke in the pub while drinking was a blast.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward Yunalista was fantastic. So friendly and always took care of our needs.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Balcony in this level was great. So close to the water and we got to see flying fish and other sea life in some of the clear waters at ports.

Ports of call

George Town, Grand Cayman

4 out of 5
Nice friendly city atmosphere with some bits of heavy traffic but plenty of safety police to help direct.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
This process was even worse than embarkation. Some mishap lead to a delay in getting docked and off. This lead to the entirety of the cruise passengers stuck sitting in hallways around the stairs and elevators for over an hour as everyone was forced out of their rooms to get them prepped for the next cruise. The only plus side was the Lido was open for breakfast and swirls during the wait but it was a pain sitting on stairways with your luggage just waiting.
