Review summary

Cruise ship was experiencing some problems and we missed a couple of island but overall it was a good cruise except for a few minor issues

The main dining rooms were not as good anymore... they are just okay they have really condensed it. The menu choices were larger as far as selections. Lido doesn't even put out bananas, but some days the food is good. I didn't try a lot of the specialties restaurants.. guy burgers are good, Mongolian wok is good, Italian pasta wasn't that good...and the seafood shack was good. Also was shocked you had to pay for room service

Reflections Restaurant

Our dining room experience was great we had 3 waiters that were just terrific... their names or Romel, Rexor, Earl John...these guys truly need to be reward in some way because they really did their jobs, very friendly and funny just all around great waiters.

Onboard Activities

my family members really enjoyed the spa they were there everyday, My husband enjoyed the different things on 12 obstacle ropes and the overhead bike ride.

I thought that they could have had some better shows in the theaters I thought they were kind of boring. I enjoyed the live band glad that was back...

We were in the Reflections dining room early dining...we had three waiters that were just awesome and sweet.... they really made our dining fun...Their names were Romel, Earl John, and Rexor . They would go beyond the call of duty to take care of your dining needs...if they saw us in the Lido deck they would stop and talk and joke around with us they were absolutely awesome...I think that carnival should reward these guys because they really are the best waiters I've had from carnival in a longtime. Lido deck the most part staff was friendly no complaints. Housekeeping was also good

I don't like the vista it is smaller than other carnival ships...hallways are smaller, the cabins are smaller, dining rooms 1 floor, atrium is pretty, but again small, they took away the glass elevators which is truly a problem... ship was always clean

Things are done a little differently on this ship than on previous carnival ships I been on.. so don't expect anything if you have been cruising with carnival for awhile
