Review summary

Cruising with 3 other guys, all 21 and we’re all BIG BIG party guys, we’re booked on the Carnival Vista in July and was going to book a New Years cruise December 2019, was looking at the Norwegian Escape or Cruise the Vista again, I’ve always cruised carnival and nothing else cause I’ve always had the best time, looking to try something different possibly. Is the escape or other Norwegian ships a good party/nightlife and younger crowd ship, or should we stick to carnival? Can anyone tell me how the nightlife is on Norwegian ships compared to carnival if anyone has been on both, thanks!

Oh your poor neighbors... 😂 I’m not 100% sure but I thought there has to be at least one 25 year old to book the cabin?? Maybe I’m wrong... 🤷🏼‍♀️

I suspect that the level of partying has more to do with the time of year you sail and less to do with the selection of cruise line. 😉

We sailed on the Norwegian Pearl over spring break and it was the opposite of party boat. Very relaxing cruise. We enjoyed it but didn’t see much of a party.

I have always sailed carnival too. My husband and I are booked on the Escape this coming Feb. I say try it. I don't like all the kids on the Carnival ships. There's nothing wrong with a little partying. My travel agent told me the deck parties on the Escape are off the hook.

If you're Big party guys, stick with Carnival...you're not the over the top type that make people not enjoy THEIR cruise are you??? lolol😊

In my experience Carnival is more of a party line than NCL. However, Carnival limits you to 15 drinks per day where NCL doesn't. Personally, I enjoy the more subdued environment on NCL but if a party is what you are looking for Carnival is your best bet. Again my opinion, others may vary or be able to offer additional lines as options. Enjoy your cruise.
