Review summary

Though it was a wonderful cruise, I had higher hopes of this new ship. I had read many reviews and decided to reserve judgement until it was my turn to cruise on this new ship. Most of the reviews I read were exactly true. Disappointed.

Buffet, Guy's Burgers, Blue Iguana, etc were great. Our dining room experience was less than desirable. We chose your time dining and were seated in the very corner of the dining room and couldn't even see the main dining area from our seats. There was a table next to us in the actual corner and they tried to seat two sets of people there and both of them moved. My husband had a Ceasar salad and the dressing on it was horrible. It wasn't fit to eat. Hair in my shrimp cocktail as well. We couldn't see the dancing due to location. Didn't go back to dining room the entire cruise.

Less than impressed with our room steward and the way she made the bed and the towel animals were not very good either. Barely saw her. Most of the staff on board didn't seem as friendly as other ships I have been on.

I have never been on a ship that was more dirty than the Vista. For a new ship it was super disappointing. I had high hopes for this ship!

We arrived late in port due to weather, but even with that the debarkation process was horribly mismanaged and we didn't get off the ship until 1pm with a Zone 9 tag.

I was on her in December 2017. She was almost spotless. MDR was good but extremely slow. I didn't use the elevators because of the slowness, besides we were on the 10th floor which is were most of the action was at. Matt is great . unfortunately, he spoiled us. Now we cannot look at a CD without comparing them to the best in the business

My whole fam really enjoyed the Vista. We went summer of 2017 for my sons graduation. We were a party of about 30. We also got to experience it with Matt the best cruise director ever!!! We picked that boat purposely because of it being the newest and biggest and because of the CD of course😜

I agree with sherbs , your vacation is what you make it! Every person is different. I was on the Vista last December and we had 32 people all together we loved it. Yes the elevators were a little slow, but with allot of people you should expect that. Food and staff were fantastic no complaints at all! Go on with an open mind and don't expect to much I bet you will have a great time!! Good luck with your future cruises!!!!!!!

We were on the Vista in March, we thought it was wonderful. Employees we all so nice and it was very clean to me, i think you get out of it what attitude you go in with. We weren't looking for every little negative thing, and our vacation was perfect!

I had a phenomenal time simply because I was cruising. Of COURSE the crew was incredible; but in regards to the ship...👀 Meh.😂

Different strokes for different folks. Everyone shuld form their own opinion. We had a great time in the vista and will b in it again in 2019z. My favorite ship is still the magic though

I have read many mixed reviews myself.... we will check her out in February. I am just too excited to just go on her and be with our friends and family. I can always find something to eat and do. The best food we ever had was just on the Fantasy; a small ship.

My cousin did the Vista and she was highly disappointed she ordered room service and they brought her dirty cups, she was disgusted. I did Horizon and it was not bad I loved the deck parties and Guys burger place the buffet was horrible and the main dining room food was bland we did the hibachi experience and that was ok it was clean and brand new so no complaints there the ship rocked a whole lot more than other ships i have been on. We have always did Royal Caribbean and wanted too give Carnival cruise a try and next year we are trying the Navigator of the Seas when it’s done refurbishment. Sorry you had too experience this cause cruising is not cheap 😩
