Review summary

I was so looking forward to this cruise for my 50th birthday with my family. In the first hours on the ship I quickly realized I would be spending half our time waiting in lines and for elevators. I was devastated to see the pools had no access with my limited walking ability and they were packed any time the weather was nice. No resos available at the steakhouse and the comedy shows were packed. It was very loud and stressful. If you like to drink and party this is your ship. If you are in a wheelchair it is not easily navigated and if you want to relax this is not your ship. We met a lot of wonderful people and the staff and their stories were really touching but way too many people.

Took hours to drive a couple blocks and a chaotic stressful experience.

Food and Dining

JJs Asain was a great dining experience. The Pasta place was the only place we were treated rudely. The other dining was really good food except the buffet which was hit and miss.

Fun thing to do.

Carnival's Seaside Theatre

Really nice to watch movies outside in the warm weather. I wish there were more comfortable chairs as the ones there were monopolized the entire trip by the same people.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
The accessible bathrooms are few and far between and the pools, bikes, and slides are not accessible. The elevators left a lot to be desired. Ship was very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip

This is a mega ship with thousands (almost 5000 people). It is a loud party ship with long lines and few elevators that resulted in waiting for a very long time if you cannot use the stairs. It is not wheelchair friendly. The pools are inaccessible and restaurants are several floors away from accessible bathrooms.

I agree and I would never Sail on this class of ship again or with any of the large Carnival ships. I have the chairs package and I was waiting in line 30 plus minutes just to get a coffee and I don't mean only during Peak morning hours. I don't feel like the added amenities make up for the huge surplus of passengers. I don't think it's a good sign that people are seeming to think that you should book a Havana Suite to have a good time on the ship & that I feel like the specialty dining was a good choice just to get away from the crowds for a little while

Elevators were always packed full, stopped on every floor, pain in the ass. I also thought is was over crowded, and chair hogs out every where, unless you got out early, food in the dining made you feel like you are a horse when done, I will stick to the smaller ships.

We had a great time on vista - our daughter who is in a wheelchair loved the trivia & dive in movies -- some of the elevators took forever, like the one to serenity, but otherwise had no problem with the other elevators

Opt for the Havana Experience. Not crowded at all, peaceful, away from the crowds and the would have been more accessible for you. I wouldn't choose anything else on that class of ship.
