Review summary

Well I was reading reviews before I got on the vista, Got off the vista yesterday, and I got to say a lot of them reviews are just people you can’t please. Yes bathrooms are not hard to find. The casino was not so smoky that you could not stay in there. My wife don’t smoke and I did not here her say anything about it. Can you smell smoke yes. But it is not overwhelming like I have read here. All the staff was great and willing to help. Our head waiter Anthony in the reflection lounge was great. The food was great. Now was it a 80 dollar steak, nope sure wasn’t. But the taste was very good. There was nothing I ate that was not good. It was all good. The vista is a very pretty ship. The lay out was different than the other ships but was not bad at all. Elevators are a bit of a pain, but I take the stairs a lot on all the cruises I have been on anyways. My only rant about my cruise don’t even concern the ship. Parents don’t just open the gate and turn your kids out. Let me back up. Not all the kids where bad. There was a lot that where kind and polite. Then there where kids that thought you owed them something. The parents of them kids needs to parent a little better. Don’t just turn them loose so you can have fun times while your kids are interrupting others fun times. Would I sail on her again. You bet.

I was on the Vista before as well. I did like our time on The Conquest a bit better due to the size of the ship and the number of people. It was also my first cruise so that probably contributed. However, we had a wonderful vacation on the Vista. Yes it’s larger and there are more people but it never interfered with us having a great time, getting food on time, waiting in lines forever or waiting for drinks. We showed up for the shows a bit earlier is all. We are going to sail on her again with our kids for Halloween 21’ because we like the itinerary!

So glad you enjoyed. A cruise is what you make it and you can never please everyone. There are some you can Never please.

I have to disagree because I have been very pleased with my experiences on other Carnival ships but I was not pleased with the service or the layout on The Vista. It seems to me that they tried to pack in too many different amenities instead of making the main facilities appropriate for the large number of passengers

DOUBLED sorry you had a bad experience on the ship. I enjoyed mine. I make the best out of it and go on.

I went on the Vista. I enjoyed it. My only complaints are that the liquid lounge where they have the main shows was small and a lot of seats blocked by pillars and the clothing the girls wore was not family friendly. Other than that I really enjoyed the ship

We'll said! Agree on all points. Ship areas are kinda chopped up but once you find your way around it's not bad. Only "disappointment" on our cruise was debarcation in Jamaica and most the chairs in the limelight lounge seem broken. Minor stuff, fun ship, great crew.
