Get to the Lido buffet early or you may not eat...Make sure you keep a ship map handy...

Our stateroom near the back was prime location for us to be near everything: our dining room, pool, and bar/club areas.

Our stateroom was at the back of the ship on the 6th floor. We were just a short walk from the casino, and a few floors away from the lido deck (level 9) We had elevators and stairs close by so we could take the stairs (if the elevators were full) or the elevator (if our legs were tired)!

The lines are super long at all times at the front desk. Try the pager system as used in the restaurant so your guests can have more cruise time than line waiting.

Book another cruise line or bring 7 days worth of food

Buffet in the back of ship is better then the stations by the pool. Omelette station was better for breakfast then the stations near the pool. Deli station was good. Gratuities are rolled into every drink you buy. Carnival puts gratuities on your bill of $60 per person for room staff.

If you order from room service, don't hesitate to order from the "pay extra" page. The value is far greater than the extra you pay. Same way with dinner. If you don't see what you want on the featured menu, order from the $20.00 menu. The value received far exceeds the extra cost.

Be sure to thank all crew members as they just don't hear how important they are to the overall experience!

Remember, If your are going to anytime dining, go down to deck 3 in the glass elevators. cross the main lobby and enter just aft of the stair case. The only way in to the lower ding room is from the main lobby on deck 3.

Don't let an "inside" cabin [put you off. That's what we had this time and for the amount of money we saved, we'll do it again. We were not in the cabin much.

Those back corner balconies are the way to go if you don't mind having a smaller room.

Deck 10 was same deck as pool and just a short stairway from food.

It's an older ship, pools are small and there are not as many, lunchtime is a pain because of the crowds and the quality of the food

This is a really fun ship and the cruise director is very entertaining. But bring lysol in a can to disinfect surfaces in rooms, maybe some bug spray for around the bed. Also don't wear white; we have terrible stains on our white/light clothing from sitting on dirty surfaces.

Go if you want to party. Don’t go if you wish to cleanly relax.

Order the scallops as an appetizer on the 2nd night. AWESOME!! A room at the back of the ship will get you to all the food places with a quick elevator ride. The serenity deck is not so serene since it is so close to the main pool deck, so if you want real quiet, go to Deck 10 at the back of the ship (right over Pirate Pizza). No loud music, no kids getting on the slide, very peaceful.

Don't book too early. I lost nearly $300 because my rate code didn't allow refunds as the price dropped. It's almost worth just waiting until you're within 90 days of the cruise to book if you can. Another tip would be eating in the main dinning room prior to and/or during disembarkation. Enjoy the cruise and food until the very last minute!
