Deli was great and not as busy as the other Lido eating areas. Also, dining room was great for breakfast to avoid the lines! Also, make sure you have a ship map on you at all times so you do not get lost!!

Always opt for the balcony room! Well worth the small extra fee. So relaxing.

Don't be put off because it is an older ship. Its our first cruise and the experiences we had on this ship have made us into cruise lovers.

Get to the Sports bar early if you want to watch NFL and they only show one game on all 8 screens.

Balcony room is the way to go. We are generally to cheap to get one. It was very enjoyable and only $100 more so totally worth it.

SHIP TIP: the BEST place to hang out, eat, drink and lounge by a pool is all the way aft.

If you want to have a great time then you have to get involved in the activities and shows. Sit as close to the front as possible for the shows.

Select a cabin in the middle of the Empress deck. Lido Buffet and pools are 2 decks up. Dining room, casino and promenade are 2 decks down.

Most of the action is on Deck 9 so it was great that we did not have to go up and down the stairs/elevator much! If you are wanting a great sunbathing spot with a lot less noise, the serenity deck is great!

If you have children and you would like a relaxing yet fun ship experience, this is not for you. If you like to leave the children in the day care and party it up, this is all you!

If possible, recommend reserving a balcony cabin on the Lido deck. Incredibly easy to navigate meals, entertainment, and quick runs to the cabin. Don't forget to use the sauna and steam room in the spa. They are free luxuries! Locate Serenity adult section. So amazing to be child-free!
