Review Summary

The average age of the guest was a little too young for our liking as we are middle age and most people were in their early 20s. We were not a fan of the design that lacked shade in the pool size. We did not have a good guest service experience, the casino was a lot of fun and our dining staff was amazing. Debarkation it was a nightmare! They suggested those of us that were willing to debark using the express method which would be to carry off your own luggage but it would save you time but in fact we had to wait 3 1/2 hours just to get off the boat once it was in port in Miami. The location of our room on the 11th deck was a nightmare, the kids club is right there so people are constantly coming and going and all you hear is screaming crying children all day long and it is directly under the 12 deck which is where some of the fun hang out activities are located so late at night into the early morning there is often noise, pounding, banging, and chair scooting going on while you’re trying to sleep.

Service and Staff

Our dining service was amazing, but experiences with other members of the staff was not so great. Guest services was a nightmare and watching people stand in line for the excursions was ridiculous. We had a security issue at 2 o’clock in the morning and guest services suggested we stand in line to report it instead of dispatching a security officer immediately. Then the security officer suggested we go back and report it to guest services and she suggested that it really wasn’t their fault that we should’ve told them sooner as if I had a crystal ball to foresee the issue that was going to arise.

Ship Quality

The pool was clean all the time, but the design was very poor. The pools were way too small, there wasn’t an ounce of shade anywhere near the pool so if you wanted to get out of the sun that you actually had to enter the ships interior as opposed to still enjoying the activities on the deck in a shaded place.

Cabin / Stateroom

The state room staff was outstanding always keeping her room clean and stocked, the poor rating was due to the location. I won’t room was just around the corner from the kids club and at all times of day you could hear her crying children and parents coming and going to pick up their kids so the noise level was just atrocious. We also had a room that was just below the 12 deck where there is a location to play ping-pong and hang out and at ridiculous hours people were up there moving chairs pushing things around and every noise could be heard. There was multiple occasions that things fell And spilled from the deck onto our balcony such as pop and food getting on our towels and clothes that were on our balcony it was gross.

Ship Tip

Plan ahead for your excursions, the line people waited in was absurd with one employee only
