Review Summary

This is the fourth cruise we have taken and the second one on Carnival. We may have had a few little problems, but overall the trip was terrific! We will definitely sail with Carnival again. Hopefully, we can book a cruise that has Felipe Cuoto for a Cruise Director. He is awesome! And, the Captain and the entire ship's crew all did a wonderful job! Kudos to all of them!

Service and Staff

Every crew member we encountered on the ship greeted us with a smile and made us feel special. Our Cruise Director Felipe Cuoto was extremely entertaining. When we arrived home and started to follow him on Facebook, we actually felt jealous of the new passengers onboard. Our room steward Yasa and his crew did a great job. The dining staff, especially Chandler, Setiawan, Elida, Made and Aleksandra did a superb job!

Ship Quality

It's not that easy to navigate the ship. We spent a lot of time wandering back and forth trying to get from one place to another.

We went on an excursion to participate in the Dolphin Swim. Our excursion leader took our excursion group off walking to the boat that would take us to the venue. We didn't realize that there was a shuttle bus from our area of the dock that would have taken us to the area where we were to board the small boat to Balmoral Island. My poor husband could hardly make the walk took us forever because the Victory was docked the farthest out on the pier! When we got back to Nassau and went through Port Security we found out there was a shuttle which took us back to the Carnival Victory. It would have been nice if we had know about the bus before. The excursion itself was great except my poor husband was so tired from all that walking that he didn't have the strength to swim with the dolphins and had to be assisted out of the water onto the trainer's raft and couldn't participate in the swim. Sad.
