Embarkation

We purchased Faster2TheFun. It was definitely worth it! After using Carnival Transportation from the airport, we arrived before noon and went straight to our room.

Food and Dining

The food was somewhat disappointing. It was somewhat bland like Golden Corral buffet. Guys Burgers and the Taco/burrito bar were awesome. The best dessert was the ice cream/frozen yogurt machine. Chocolate extravaganza on the sea day was good but rest of the desserts in the dining hall and buffet were nothing to be desired.

Onboard Activities

There was always something to do. The pools were so crowded that we did not get in either one of them the whole cruise. That was disappointing but we did not want to literally rub elbows to be in the pool.

Entertainment

We went to three family comedy shows. All were great! We went to one of the musical presentations. It was really top quality. The sets and costumes were very detailed. Interesting that in a few of the scenes the ladies were more than half naked - there should have been an adult rating. When the ladies turn around and you can see their entire back side with a piece of string around the waist and butt floss between their cheeks, that was a bit unnecessary; however, the quality of the performance and music otherwise was very good

Service and Staff

Great service from the staff. Our room steward, Edy, was very attentive.

Ship Quality

The crew was very attentive to maintain the ship's appearance. I would have given the ship an Excellent rating except for the fact that you had to go through the casino to get from forward to aft of the 5th floor. The smoke was so strong that just walking through it to get to the Adriatic Lounge for the comedy show and then walk back through it to get to our room, our clothes reeked with smoke.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was very comfortable. SO GLAD we did the balcony! It was most definitely worth it. Edy our stateroom stewart, was excellent!

Ship tip

Go with Faster 2 The Fun and Bottomless Bubbles. When you receive an email prior to your cruise offering a package that gives you all of your ship's professional pictures from Pixel - DO IT! We didn't and it was so hard to have to pick what pics we wanted to keep and what ones we were never going to see again! Next time, we will definitely go with the all inclusive digital package.
