Review of Victory 6/19 Cruise
3 Night Bahamas (Miami Roundtrip)
Sail Date: May 19, 2017
Ship: Carnival Victory
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Singles/Friends
Reviewed: 1 year ago
My friends and I went on a girls trip to the Bahamas aboard the Victory. While the boat looked its age, the rooms were fresh and newly renovated. We went a day when our room was not visited by our steward, but that was fine as we were having too much fun to really care. I have been on about 5 cruises and travel with my family at least twice a year. I didn't expect 5 star service on this cruise so maybe that's why I can't complain too much.
My friends and I heard a big argument on the ship between a group that made everyone including the staff uncomfortable. But once we left the floor it was all good.
I have another cruise with the family later this year on Carnival. I am hoping that due to it being with my kids on a newer ship for a longer time, it will be a lot better. But Victory was good for a group of girls just getting away.

Don't have expectations of a 5 star experience. Instead of looking at it as if it will be the Ritz Carlton (which it is far from. Went on Disney cruise and that was more like a 4-5 star experience) look at is as more like the Marriott or even Holiday Inn. Then you will appreciate the experience more
