Review Summary

This was our second cruise (first time on Carnival), and it was action-packed.

The three days went very quickly- from our slightly turbulent first night, and busy

day in Nassau, to the fun return trip back. So many great things made it an enjoyable experience- the delicious food, the lively entertainment and activities, the clean environment, and the restful balcony cabin. This is a recommended escape from the work and stress of chaotic winter weather, and the service on this ship was excellent.

Ship Experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food choice variety for all courses was surprising, and the actual quality for each of the three nights was superior. The buffet choices and quality were also beyond expectation.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Enjoyed Sail-Away party, and some of the festivities by the pool on Sunday's Fun- day.

5 out of 5
All three main-stage shows were excellent and enjoyable, enhanced by the inclusion of LIVE musicians. One early PG comedy show that we witnessed was funny and engaging with the skilled improvisation of Jorge Solano.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Witnessed some fun things for children, but N/A for us.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service from our main dining waiter, Joven, was attentive in all details and excellent. Randal who also assisted us on the last night was very attentive and helpful. Our cabin steward, I Ketut, was exceptional with the thorough cleaning, and lovely animal-folded towels that greeted us upon our return each night. Melroy and Imin were very helpful w/ breakfast and cleanup in the Lido Buffet.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Logical layout, well-maintained and loved the ocean-themed colors everywhere.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Clean cabin with beautiful views from elongated balcony, and comfortable big bed facing windows. Unusable detergent-like shampoo in dispenser, and no conditioner in shower. Too short a trip to buy big bottles. Let travelers know to bring needed items. Loose dry-wall panel in luggage closet that banged with turbulence on first night. Check and secure. Outside balcony separation panels loose at bottom- but they started fixing those as we were leaving on last morning.

Ports Of Call

Miami, Florida
