Sadly it wasn't the greatest

Room Type: Balcony

I have cruised before and I was sadly disappointed by the cruise ship itself and the fact that maintenance was being done in public areas.  There was construction being done right next to one of the pools which was most inconvenient.  I would think that Carnival would see that all maintenance and repair work be done while the ship is docked, NOT while people are aboard trying to enjoy their vacation.  The crew was fabulous but they still didn't make up for the disappointment of work being done while we were cruising - actually closing off areas, which really hindered the already limited space around the pool.

Cabin / Stateroom
Compared to other balcony rooms I have had, on other ships, this room was very average. The bathroom really needed improved and the shower area had tiles popped out that needed repaired. The bed and linens were very comfortable but overall room was quite dated.

If you sail Victory to Nassau be sure to do the Catamaran & Snorkel excursion - it was FANTASTIC!
