Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

I cruised the Carnival Victory for my honeymoon and we were both 1st time cruisers. It was a nice experience. However, we were promised that our room would have a special setup since we were honeymooners and it was not. When we asked about it all we got was blank stares so we didn't worry about it.

Also, the pools were not cleaned anymore after the 1st day. We sat in one pool and huge clumps of hair were just floating around and eventually the water was so dirty it turned to a muddy green color. The didn't even have filters on.

We also purchased the bottomless bubbles which means you can get unlimited sodas but what they do not tell you is they still charge you tax and you cannot get it via room service so we ended up still having to pay for them. So I wouldn't waste money on that anymore.

Also it would be very wise to place cash on your cash card because if you place your credit card info they are going to place a hold on your card for almost twice what you owe.

Overall the rooms were clean, the workers were nice, the drinks were strong and the food was good. I would probably go again but on a different boat.
