In using my airline miles there were a number of "hidden" charges after the fact that really were tacky. Rather than let me know up front how many miles and then extra cash would be required for the trip it was a ding here and then a ding there. I travel for work a lot and this was not worth it. I should have just used the miles for dining certificates.
