5 Night Eastern Caribbean (Miami Roundtrip) Sail Date: January 18, 2016 Cabin Type: Balcony Cabin Number:9273 Traveled As: Family (older children) Reviewed: 1 year ago
The seas were quite rough the entire time as a massive storm moved up the east coast and unfortunately we barely saw the sun - was cloudy and breezy the whole time. The ship itself you can tell is older, but the staff and activities, food/drink were all terrific. I liked the fact that there was food available at any time - Carnival Breeze last year in comparison, didn't offer as many choices or availability of food outside of the "normal" dining hours.
PERFECT location right off the elevators in the middle of the action - and it wasn't noisy! The room and sleeping areas were of adequate size for 4 adults. The showerhead should have been soaked in bleach or something - was discolored/questionable.
Had a beach excursion booked, but because it was rainy we just stayed in the shopping area right off the boat - the shops inside were okay, but the streets & alleys were dirty, I didn't feel entirely safe.
