All in all, a pretty good cruise

Sail Date: February 01, 2014

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

Overall a very easy experience. It was in fact the easiest disembarkation ever for us. The secret is to pack lightly so you can do the self-disembarkation with your luggage. The ship was clean and tons of bars\, but overall activities seemed to be down from prior cruises. The food was so-so.

Pros: The two destinations were not over crowded nor did they have thousands of tourist shops

Cons: The ship is a little dated and needs updating. Also management of the Serenity area needs to be improved.

Recommends Carnival Victory? Yes!

Entertainment
They were good. However on the comedy show\, go early or there is no room.
Service and Staff
Everyone tried hard and was a great atmosphere.
Cabin / Stateroom
Our steward did a great job. Great room.
Food and Dining
Average is the best word for this. The buffet was below average most of the time.
Ship Quality
Good on average. It was clean.
