worst cruise we have been on
this was our 6th cruise and the worst one by far. This ship (Carnival Victory) did not have a lot to offer a family. The entertainment was not very good, from the shows to the comedians... some of the music around the ship was good. But there generally was not a lot to do on board. the food was good for the most part, but there were not a lot of dining choices compared to other ships we have been on. the buffet area on the lido deck needs to be redesigned. the layout is poor and causes a lot of lines and congestion. we have seen it done much better. The port days were also not great. This was a short 4 night cruise with 2 stops. there was not enough time at either stop to see or do much. for a cruise this short, would have been better to have one stop with ample time than to have two short stops. Our rooms were also too close to the atrium where there was loud music blasting until late in the night. I'm not sure I would go with Carnival again; maybe a larger newer ship. and I would probably not go on a cruise less than 7 nights again.
