My very first cruise experience

Sail Date: April 23, 2015

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Great service from staff members, food at buffet was not impressive at all, there was an electrical power glitch at Conzumel , Mexico port that it took forever to get us on board again since the sign and sail card reader apparently was not working and they have to do it manually. The pools very small for so many people, poor service at the casino area, you have to chase them to get a drink. The comedy club was very fun but to small for the whole crowd they should off do it in the main theater where they have plenty room to accommodate the guest , The chef restaurant for dinner was awesome and great service. the balcony rooms are smaller than what it looks in the Carnival website pictures good enough for two, The Spa services are great , very professional staff and very knowledgeable. Overall was a good getaway trip but sadly did not met my expectations specially on my very first cruise experience.

Ship Quality
rooms are smaller than what it looks like in the Carnival's website
Food and Dining
great at the chef restaurant but not a great buffet
Service and Staff
Entertainment
Onboard Activities
pool and water park need to be updated ( too small)
Destinations and Excursions
Cabin / Stateroom
Awesome location on the ship but a bit smaller to what it seems to be on the picture, Good for two

Tip

Get a suite if you want to be comfortable even if you think you won't be in the room much time or get a stateroom on the Veranda towards the from of the ship (quiet and easy aces to everything)
