WORST CRUISE EVER!!

Sail Date: April 09, 2015

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

We have cruised Carnival before and this was such a disappointing return. There were sexual acts going on in the pools and songs being played by passengers with swear words and innappropriate content and no cruise members stopping any of it. We had problems with the guests across from us screaming in the halls for hours in the middle of the night, all four nights. We had to call security about it several times a night and when asked if we could move rooms, they said there was none. The showers would scald then freeze you. Tiles missing in the bathroom. Mold and rust in the shower. Long waits in line for buffets (I waited over 45 minutes on Mexican Night). Children would play at the bottom of the water slide while guests were sliding down. It truly seemed like it was an "anything goes" with absolutely no rules, as Carnival staff would witness this all and do nothing to stop the madness. When I called Carnival to be compensated for all the problems we encountered, they offered nothing other than a $25 credit for soda to be used the next time we sail. I will never sail with them again!

While I felt that no one went out of their way to help with our problems, I felt Stephanie in Shore Excursions and Liliya, our waitress, were phenomenal.

Cozumel, Mexico
Definitely do an excursion here. We did the Dolphin Swim and it was top notch.

Tip

If you already booked and are forced to go on this ship, eat at Pizza Pirate. The pizza is amazing.
