Ship needs to be reconditioned

Sail Date: April 04, 2015

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

Very outdated ship, there is no attention to detail. Painters are very sloppy, paint & stain drips where they shouldn't be. Ship is very dirty, don't touch the hand rails, don't think they have been cleaned in months.

Lines for everything, not well organized. If you want a restful cruise don't choose Carnival. I love Celebrity & Princess, but we traveled with a group. So I had to go along with the what everyone wanted. I will never cruise on carnival again

Ship Quality
Needs to be recondishioned
Food and Dining
Dinner was good but rushed, breakfast buffet was way over crowded, drinks were good.
Cabin / Stateroom
Carpet hasn't been cleaned in a while. Love a balcony no matter what ship, the views are great
Service and Staff
David our pool waiter was amazing. Most staff was OK. Our room steward walked in on my wife twice, not right
Entertainment
Comedy show was good, piano player was good, final four on big screen was cool
Onboard Activities
Destinations and Excursions
I love Jamaica, go to Dunns River Falls. Tina was awesome on our excursion
Miami, Florida
Get a hotel room the night before your cruise
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
Ya mon, the people are awesome
George Town, Grand Cayman
small island, went to seven mile beach, Royal Palms is the place to be

Tip

Lido deck rooms are the place to be, easy access to pool & buffet. If you drink on vacation, get the drink card, it was worth it.
No need to get dressed up on this ship, people wear shorts to dinner. I am used to Princess ships, men wear tuxes & women in formal gowns. Don't touch the railings
