Carnival Victory 12/2/12

Sail Date: December 01, 2012

Reviewed: 3 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

Although this is a slightly older ship\, it was well maintained. I preferred the Freedom\, but since this came with the itinerary we wanted it was fine. I was very disappointed to find many of the hand sanitizing stations near the food areas were empty\, especially after my husband contracted the ship virus on our last cruise.

Pros: The ports were beautiful\, we had a great time with old friends and new nes

Cons: The fact that Carnival completely changed the itinerary around caused us to lose at least 10 hours of port (shopping) time. It was very disappointing to find this out after dinner on the first night. We had made reservations for tours in every port and the change totally messed that up

Recommends Carnival Victory? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
The overall quality of the food\, especially in the buffets was considerably less than on our Freedom cruise in Jan 2012. Even the dining room food was not as good
Cabin / Stateroom
Our stateroom was very roomy
Service and Staff
The night we went to the comedy club we were very disappointed in the comedian. I thought his act was raunchy\, even for an adult rated show. Frankly it was discusting
