The ship is very old and not well maintained. Several lights burned out. Not the nicest decorations. Crew was nice but didn't go the extra mile. Some didn't even go the first mile!

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was overall pretty good. Quality ingredients\, well prepared.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Very weak! The venue was hum-drum at best. Nothing new under the sun here! Not well staffed or managed- they scheduled a magician in a room that probably only 60% of the people could see. They didn't have any microphone for the magician and he had to leave his act to turn on the music and again to lower the volume. They need some out-of-the-ordinary options such as fruit/veggie carving class or hand-writing expert class. Even a balloon animal class would be a nice change!

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
Although very friendly\, several times I noticed employees looked tired\, almost lackadaisical. To be fair\, there were many that were efficient too.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Needs updated. At least needs better maintenance. Many light bulbs burned out; problems with A/C; problems with ice machines in the buffet area\, etc.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
No more mints on the pillow! No pen. No refrigerator. No ice bucket- had to request ice and got it in a plastic tub. Attendant missed 2 cleanings- even having the \"Cruising\" placard on the door handle!

Pros: Theater entertainment was good.

Cons: Outdted ship\, extensive cutbacks\, cruise director \"Goose\" was weak.

Recommends Carnival Victory? No.
