A relaxing cruise

Sail Date: December 01, 2013

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Room Type: Inside

I was impressed by the concern with safety of passengers as we saw a passenger being rescued by a Coast Guard helicopter due to emergency medical needs.
The ship is somewhat old with many areas redone.

Pros: customer focus by room cleaning and restaurant crews

Cons: cabin

Recommends Carnival Victory? No.

Ship Quality
overall met my needs; relaxation areas and gym
Food and Dining
buffet had variety and tasty food; dining room better quality
Cabin / Stateroom
cabin had periodic vibrations for part of the trip that were really annoying and somewhat concerning; very poor TV set in the room
Service and Staff
cleaning and restaurant crews very positive and friendly
