Review SummaryThe food was great. We always enjoy eating in the Dining Room at our assigned table so that we can meet new people. Complaint number one: I would have picked a table for at least 6, but was told we couldn't choose the table size. So, we ended up at a table for 4, which wouldn't have been too bad, but the other couple never showed. So, it was just the two of us at dinner all week. Our dining staff made it very enjoyable for us, but it would have been nice to have other company at dinner.
Complaint number 2: We enjoy the singing and dancing shows in the main theater, but the sound volume is off the charts. We actually had to put our fingers in our ears to get through some of the singing parts. I did notice other people doing the same thing. We were sitting behind the sound board and I noticed that the lights for the sound volume were all the way to the top of the red during the singing parts. They need to do a decibel reading, and I'm sure they will find that it is not in the right range for hearing the show comfortably. We didn't even go to the final show Friday night because we didn't want to sit holding our ears the whole time.
Another suggestion to Carnival is that they figure out how to have comedy shows that are neither 'adult' (meaning raunchy), or 'family friendly' (meaning geared toward 5 year olds). The comedian who did the 'family' show obviously was used to performing before adults only, and didn't have good material for a mixed crowd, and geared it toward the kids.
We always enjoy ourselves, but a few changes in these areas would make it even more enjoyable.
We carried off our own luggage on debarkation, as we were parked in the garage, and that went very smoothly. We were actually off the ship and in our car before 8 am.

If you're not a diver and you're in Grand Turk, take a taxi to the National Museum. Very interesting.
