Victory is not new, but the overall appearance is that it is very well maintained and clean. Our room steward obviously took pride in his work and was most helpful. We had a negative excursion experience in Cozumel, but the young man in customer service handled our complaint beautifully when we decided to report it the next day. The dining room service was excellent, and the foods were not great, but most were good. There were a few odd combinations of flavors, and someone in the kitchen must love sesame seeds - probably wouldn't have noticed the excessive use of the seeds otherwise, but my husband is allergic. For evening entertainment, we saw the show music show Vroom, and both comedians on board and thoroughly enjoyed them all. While we hated the pervasive cigarette smoke in the casino, the band that played in there each night was so good, we sat on the outer edge of the casino on two different evenings to listen for a while.

Our only real complaint about the ship is that the pool areas are not sufficient for a full house. We were never able to find a spot in the adults only pool area, and had difficulty finding two lounge chairs at the others.

Our warning to others is to skip the Chankanaab (sp?) Park excursion. The park itself is really not up to the standards we expected, and three of the park activities that were in the excursion description didn't happen. Carnival customer service personnel negotiated on our behalf with the excursion company, and we were given a 30% refund, but of course, you can't re-do the day.

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
Time for new mattress and new tv.
Service and Staff
Entertainment
Children's Programs Didn't use.
Onboard Activities
Pool areas too crowded to be pleasant.
Destinations and Excursions
Loved Key West, just too short of a visit. Cozumel Chakanaab Park should be removed from Carnival excursion offerings.
