A very good cruise

Sail Date: October 21, 2012

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Very impressed with the ship and it's facilities. Very clean although dated decor. Enjoyed the choices of activities both on board and on shore. The dining rooms were good but staff should have to work for tips. I found that service could be spotty because of this.

Pros: Destinations: St Thomas\, Barbados\, St Lucia\, St Kitts\, San Juan

Cons: Lido restaurant\, buffet food lines and food quality

Recommends Carnival Victory? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Dinner in the dining rooms was generally good\, but not great or exceptional. Otrher meals were OK at best. The Chef's Tasting dinner\, optional & limited\, was exceptional and highly recommended.
Cabin / Stateroom
Comfortable\, great location mid ship and easy access to the elevators\, stairs. The balcony was rarely used but a near must have to give you more options and flexibility for viewing when docked or sailing.
Service and Staff
Overall\, it would be hard to find any negative except for one server during one of our early dinners.
Very good. Comics were excellent!
