Overall, this was a good cruise. This was our first cruise of seven days after a three day cruise 30 years ago. Stateroom was excellent after it was changed from the first night over the disco. Room steward was superb. The dining room was delightful with excellent service and most food was was excellent. Some fish and pork was a little dry and the galley might want to work on that. We basically stayed away from the food on the Lido deck. Skipping St. Marteen was a major disappointment as we chose this cruise because of the itinerary. Makes me think twice about cruising if one is most interested in the ports, although it was a pleasant and efficient way to see the West Indies.

Pros: The ports and the service

Cons: Not being able to dock at St. Marteen.

Recommends Carnival Victory? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Most food was excellent although some dishes were a little overcooked.
Cabin / Stateroom
Stateroom exceed expectations. Be certain to get a quiet one. If ours had not been changed after the first night over the disco we would have had a horrible experience. Fortunately the staff was able to accommodate us.
