Not what I expected!

Sail Date: October 01, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Inside

The ship was OLD and dirty! The comedy club does not have enough seats to accommodate the crowd. The DJ in the nightclub was horrible. Is he even a DJ or just someone paid to play music?? The Mediterranean Dining room always ran out of coffee/juices. The food was horrible and sometimes had to wait up to an hour on line to get good. The food is not kid friendly and neither is the ship. The camp carnival activities was boring for my 4 year old. This is just not what I expected

Pros: Docking at the ports

Cons: The food

Recommends Carnival Victory? No.

Ship Quality
Dirty and the decor was not great. Ummatching tiles
Food and Dining
The food was HORRIBLE!
Cabin / Stateroom
The stateroom was so small and no room because my son had to sleep on a cott. My wife and I couldn't walk around without hitting something or each other
Service and Staff
The best part was the housekeeping staff. They cleaned twice daily and did a GreAt jobl
The shows looked like a high school talent show. Was not happy with it. The man that hosted bingo was a sarcastic mean man. I disliked his attitude. There was not enough activities
Children's Programs
Not good! Nothing for my 4 year old. The bathrooms were filthy and smelled horrible
