Victory 2012 September Cruise

Sail Date: September 02, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Ship was graceful in cruising during the evening hours. It was like gently being rocked to sleep.

Pros: cruising in the evening allowing for a restful sleep

Cons: The Taxi's were rude and the beach vendors were constantly stopping at our umbrellas and chairs. It was difficult to relax.

Recommends Carnival Victory? Yes!

Ship Quality
To be one of the smaller ships in the fleet I thought it was a big ship. It was rare you could even feel the ship rock. Very comfortable trip.
Food and Dining
The quality of the food was not A-1. Simple items like burgers it seemed were made from frozen meat patties and were not cooked with any flavoring or seasoning. In other words\, the quality of the cooking just wasn't tthere as they were serving to the masses.
Cabin / Stateroom
Top notch. Gerard and Yasa who attended to our cabin worked hard and kept everything in super clean condition.
Service and Staff
If we ever needed anything Gerard and Yasa were quick to assist us.
The first few nights on the cruise there were dancing outside during the evening cruise. This should have been done every night as it seemed everyone was really enjoying this. Instead\, they did movies\, which should have been later in the evening.
