Fair - Somethings were unsat.

Sail Date: June 10, 2012

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

Smoking in the casino was unlimited (no non-smoking areas.) An extremely lound band area was adjacent to the casino so you could not hear the dealers or fellow players.
I understand that young people need to be entertained too but they are completely out of hand (20-30 y.o.s)
I must admit the shows in the main theater were excellent with very professional entertainers. All in all I have had better trips on other lines, i.e. Royal Car., Princess. Will not book another on Carnival.

Pros: Hard to say. Food was okay - Crewmembers were excellent

Cons: Carnival caters to the 20s crowd. Most music very modern and not for us older folks. Music and audio system extremely too loud

Recommends Carnival Victory? No.

Ship Quality
Seemed to be a lot of maintenance work going on during cruise. Had very bad oder at times. They did correct the problem.
Food and Dining
Waiters were great.
Cabin / Stateroom
Third bed was too small for a normal adult. My grandaughter is 21 y.o. and had to sleep in cramped bed. Unsat for third person. Room was really meant for two people.
Service and Staff
The staff were excellent.
