Great Family Memories

Sail Date: April 15, 2012

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Oceanview

We had a wonderful time aboard the Carnival Victory. There were 10 in our party so kind of a big group, but we were able to dine together most evenings. Service was prompt, friendly and courteous. Long lines sometimes at breakfast and late afternoon, but this is to be expected. Food was good, would like to see more vegetarian options, but the Deli onboard was great! Had a 13 year old with us, CIRCLE C club was the best!! She truly enjoyed this experience. Ports of Call were excellent, we did one excursion from the ship, which was great, but we found most of our excursions outside of the terminal..But find a good person to communicate with as there are TONS of people wanting your money!!! But no bad experience...lots of fun and most drivers have historical knowledge of the islands..Beware of people on the beach selling wares, chairs and umbrellas...Most are super friendly and if you say no thank you they will leave you alone...Did get caught having to pay for a $40 aloe massage at St Kitts...First cruise with Carnival-would go again, ship was clean and fun, but some others in our party would prefer a newer, bigger ship. We did the transfer at the Airport offered for $15 per person by Carnival-way to go!!! They take your luggage right away and no fighting for taxis.

Pros: Ports of Call, Ship Staff, Entertainment

Cons: Nothing really to dislike

Recommends Carnival Victory? Yes!
