This is our second time on this ship, and third time on the itinerary. On Sunday just as we were about to board, we heard that one of our close friends had a stroke the night before. We got on, and on Monday evening, she became much worse. On Tuesday while at sea, she passed away. The ship handed us their phone and said please, let us be of service. They were so nice and understanding. They are well trained in how to assist a guest with a true distressed situation. We had to leave the ship in Barbados on Wednesday to fly home. Carnival made a bad experience not so bad, as they said all the right things, and could have been no more helpful. Good job Carnival Victory. We do hope to be back again.

We did a full day excursion with New Horizons daysails. It was a wonderful excursion, not through the ship but direct with them online. They took us to two great snorkeling areas, and fed us well, plus all you wanted to drink. The 75 sailboat is wonderful and relaxing.
