Eh, Could have been better

Sail Date: August 21, 2011

Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Oceanview

Was not too pleased. It was okay. I've been on wayyy better cruises in the recent past.

Pros: The ports we visited were lovely but we knew that that's why we booked

Cons: The lines!! Such long lines for the food, and such limited food choices. Practically the same food everyday with maybe five new items.

Recommends Carnival Victory? No.

Food and Dining
Very poor variety. Very disappointing! Lines were veryyyyy long. Waited for nothing good and cold.
There weren't too many things to do.. comedy, bingo, variety show, and name that tune pretty much same things repeated daily and multiple times within the same day. Comedians were o.k
Cabin / Stateroom
Room was a nice size. Kept clean.
Service and Staff
Other cruises we've been on had a friendlier staff. They were okay but definitely didnt go out of their way for us.
Children's Programs
My energetic son was bored with the childrens activities. He is 7 and refused to go back.
Ship Quality
Bridgetown, Barbados
Castries, St. Lucia
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Very built up compared to other islands. Lots of shopping. Magen's Bay was expensive and a bit over-rated.
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Basseterre, St. Kitts
Not much to visit but spectacular views.
