I really enjoyed the five ports of call on this cruise. It was nice to be able to get off the ship almost everyday for adventures.
The food was of excellent quality and we were treated well by our waiters and waitresses.
The entertainment was quite good. Some of the daily entertainment was a bit hokey but that is true with all cruise lines. It tends to be the "filler stuff". A great big "yeah baby" for our assistant cruise director, Matt. He made the cruise!

Ship Quality

Carnival is a cruise line for the very young. It is more party oriented than other lines. The ship is slightly older and has less amenities than we were used to. The layout of the ship is also a little disjointed. To access many areas of the ship, you must climb up or down floors to get where you are going. The casino was the only access from stern to bow and it was filled with smoke!

Cabin / Stateroom

Missed having control of the temperature in the stateroom. Would also have been nice to have a small fridge available. Also missed having a coffee maker in the room.

Interesting to see both Dutch and French sides of the island.

Found the countryside to be a little desolate. Grass was all dry and very little flowers.

Beautiful island. Visited a beach here but it was in an industrial region and took away from its beauty.

Always was fascinated by St. Lucia and now I know why. Beautiful country. Friendly people.
