Email Isaline Carter at for the best island tour ever in Dominica (not exaggerating). She is the ultimate tour guide, she provides very intimate tours of the island in her private jeep. It was the best tour I ever took, bar none. You will have a fantastic time. She is delightful, pleasant, fun, and priced very reasonable, about 35.00 to 45.00 per person for the entire day. It is the best money I ever spent, you will see things the "regular tour operators" wont dream of showing you. She will take you where ever you want to go with no extra charges, and you can even visit with the locals (friends of hers), eat at local places, etc. We went to the Emerald Pool, Carib Reservation, local lunch, Mountains/Rain Forest, River Rapids with natural hot volcanic pool, Nice to be Nice Fruit stand, Downtown site seeing, sampled all wild foods in forest....All in one Day.

Pros: Lots of ports.

Cons: Exhausted with lots of ports.
