A so, so cruise.
Carnival Victory Cruise Review to Caribbean - Eastern
Sail Date: March 02, 2008
Ship: Carnival Victory
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Couple

The cruise was just okay. It was a lovely ship and the balcony room was beautiful with the exception of the terrible hairdryer!! We thoroughly enjoyed the room with its very comfortable bed and spaciousness. The food was just okay and the entertainment was just awful. They relied only on the passengers to perform, except with the first show which just alright. The comedian was not at all funny and most passengers seemed as though they were disappointed each night. The ports were good, except we arrived in Puerto Rico at 5:00, dinnertime and didn't have much time to do anything worthwhile. The other two ports were back to back as well. The casino was filled with smoke, difficult for non-smokers. The activities were boring ,except for the art presentation. It appreared that they were interested in only making as much money on ship as they could.
Ports of Call
Pros: Getting away to a warmer climate, the ease at which Carnival made the connections, some of the food, the friendliness of the buffet crew on the upper deck.
Cons: The smoke, the same activities, the same food for the buffet, the dinners which were not great, the "spring break kids, and the awful shows.
