This ship was full of surprises

Sail Date: March 18, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We were surprised by many things on the Victory. We were surprised by the food, expecting mediocre, but it was quite good and very gourmet. The ship was kept very clean. Another surprise was that even though there were over 3,000 passengers, my husband and I could find MANY places that were totally vacant. We almost didn't need our private balcony, but we really enjoyed that, too. It was so nice to have a room service breakfast on our balcony and watch the port get closer and closer.

Pros: All the different lounges and separate live entertainment in each one

Cons: The sail away party was anything but a party.

Recommends Carnival Victory? Yes!

San Juan, Puerto Rico
We went on the Sunset Walking Tour and loved it. They took us to beautiful historic spots.
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
We rented a car. The roads were terrible and the traffic was the same. The island seemed to be in disrepair.
Don't Miss: The restaurant "Mini Club" in Marigott.
