Our cabin (deck 6 Upper) and, at the stern of the ship, was directly over a disco nightclub. The disco is NOT soundproofed, so everyone on deck 6 aft is affected by the noise. We voiced a complaint, but also realized the "luck of the draw" in cabin assignments put us where we were and we'd have to tolerate it, and said so to the purser. We did receive a letter of apology the next morning, plus, follow up phone calls the next two days. On the second day, a purser by the name of George Rodriques, offered to move us to another cabin on the same deck, but at the opposite end of the ship. He went our of his way to really make our cruise comfortable and more enjoyable. Service level such as this, certainly impressed my wife and myself.

Pros: Outstanding customer care not experienced before on any cruise line

Cons: Noise level on deck six aft
