A great cruise, esp for children

Sail Date: March 12, 2006

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

It was our Grandchildren's first cruise and they loved it. The cabin was plenty roomy for the four of us, but the balcony was extremly small compared to other ships we've been on. We were very disappointed in the swimming pools, they were small and nothing fabulous at all as we have had on other lines. Also, we will never travel near or on Spring Break again as the college kids were quit loud and drank a lot. We also had to spend the night in Miami upon our return and the children had to miss a day of school and my husband had to miss work, we were not told this until a couple of days before we sailed and Carnival weren't the least bit cooperative.

Pros: The ports of call

Cons: The rowdy college kids (it was Spring Break)

Ocho Rios, Jamaica
too much time on the beach before going to the falls
Don't Miss: Dunn's River Falls
George Town, Grand Cayman
Hell was a waste, too many people and boats when we went to see the sting rays
