Review Summary

The Carnival Victory is a wonderful ship and our cruise to the Southern Caribbean was fabulous. The excursion information given to us by the staff was very informative and accurate and helped us greatly in making our decisions. This was only our second cruise and our first that stopped at more than one port so the help of the staff was important. The food was very good, both in the dining room as well as the buffets. The sushi bar located on deck 5 was open every night from 5:00 to 8:30 and offered different kinds of sushi each night. Every staff member we came in contact with was courteous, well informed and happy to help us. Our stateroom and all areas of the ship were very very clean and well supplied. The entertainment included something for everyone including disco, salsa, big bands, name that tune, etc. The staff did their best to get the passengers involved and have a great time. We would not hesitate booking another cruise with Carnival.

we had an oceanview cabin and there was plenty of room so that we weren't in each other's way.

Pros: the staff left nothing to be desired. The food was great in both the dining rooms and the buffet

Cons: we found getting from the back to the front of the ship from certain decks to be a bit confusing.
