Carnival Victory Cruise Review to Caribbean - Eastern
Review SummaryHorrible start to our 7 night cruise. We were in Boston when ship left Miami. Whole plane left behind. Carnival staff on 800 line was useless and said not there issue. Air charter was contracted by Carnival and all passengers were for Carnival ships. I paid full payment to Carnival. Heartless company that needed to be embarrassed at every turn to even meet us part way. Effect of vacation was totally destroyed. Lost half my trip / given 20 % refund! Ship seemed nice once we finally caught up and had a chance to relax and find our way. When they do it right- everything OK. But, there didn't seem to be anyone in charge when this went bad and the executive staff at Carnival seemed like thhey just wanted us to go away. This is the way in excess of 100 people were mistreated.

Pros: When we finally caught the ship 3 days late. Dining Room waitress was exceptional.
Cons: When a full plane of Carnival Customers (2/3 for Victory, 1/3 for Valor) were left on the ground in Boston and the interaction with the air charter staff that Carnival arranged and the Carnival air delay hotline was completely useless. No communication between home offc, ship & shore team.
