Too Much Smoke, Too Many Kids

Sail Date: August 17, 2006

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

My wife and two teenage sons took the four day three night cruise to Halifax, Nova Scotia.
It would have been more enjoyable if A) Smoking was at least confined to the out of doors and B) every place we went didn't have the obligatory screaming kid. The ship was fine, as was the food and service. The entertsinment was typical cruise ship, nothing we could sit through init's entirety except the Jazz music and pool deck carribean band which were both excellent!

Pros: The Service

Cons: The Smoking Everywhere, Especially Cigars

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Entertainment
Notmuch for the teens to do, and the arcade needs a serious update, as well as maintenance as many games were inoperable.
